Airporthotel Salzburg - Hotel Am Salzburg Airport

The hotel is a sad excuse for a place. The pool was closed, and I expected at least someone to say, "sorry for the inconvenience," but no. The staff couldn't be less friendly while handing out damaged luggage like it was normal. I would have expected a basic welcome drink too, but I guess that's too much to ask.

Vicinity of the hotel to the airport - made it convenient to make it for the early flight next morning.

The staff - the older lady there made you well all but welcome. What is the most bizzare is the fact it's a family owned hotel and it seems the older lady at reception was owner/manager. A smile or even a thank you and goodbye would be impossible to expect!!

The room was extremely spacious and well-appointed, and the staff were polite and eager to please. The breakfast was very good. The location, right in the airport was extremely convenient, and there was no noise from aircraft.

The cream cakes from nearby Das Jedermann are a must-try. They are good and melt in your mouth! Plus, the hotel's spacious rooms offer lovely balconies with mountain views-perfect for unwinding after a busy day.

I arrived at 21:30 in the evening after trudging around in the rain and found the hotel deserted. Waiting 20 minutes at the reception seemed like forever! And don't get me started on the pricey water. €3.50 For a small bottle felt a bit steep!

Breakfast was decent and even included special omelettes one morning. The location was super convenient, just a short walk to the airport. My room was clean and had a nice balcony. They even sent breakfast to my room when I overslept!

Good pastries, eggs and meats supplied. Immaculate and reasonably large rooms with a cosy decor. Location next to the center and airport, easy walk from terminal. For tea or coffee visit Cafe Restaurant Martha nearby: )

the location of the hotel was unbeatable, also close to the autobahn in case you are transiting. maxglan district was worth exploring. having breakfast with pastries, eggs and meats was a nice bonus.

Convenient location just minutes from the airport.

The reception staff were not very cute, lacking basic smiles and warmth. I felt confused when told about locking times without clear guidance-it added unnecessary anxiety. The breakfast options were very disappointing, with an inadequate selection that left us hungry.

Very convenient for terminal for a 6am departure. Though not officially open the lady setting up the breakfast room asked me in for a coffee before departure.

The hotel was very convenient for us as we had a fairly early flight from Salzburg Airport. Also the hotel was very good in al respects.

short walk to the airport and easy bus access to downtown

it's literally just a 5-minute walk to the airport and I loved how I could catch a local bus that took me to the center of Salzburg in just 15 minutes, making it super convenient for my city strolls in between exploring the sights.

The hotel was spotless, warm, quite and very comfortable. I would think one of Salzburg's delights. Hope to return.

The staff seemed all so sad. Pity really because the hotel is just terrific.

Clean room, comfortable bed, the convenient location made it easy to access public transport to explore the city center within 15 minutes.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff (one woman, as far as I could tell) was helpful. The location was ideal for catching an early morning flight.

The light in my hall was out, making for some fumbling about in the dark.
